The simplest form of animation: A series of small sequential pictures drawn in a blank sketch book can be animated by flipping quickly through the pages of the book, creating the effect of animation. A flip-book can be quickly assembled. You must be careful that each individual pictures all fit one after the other. In particular, the background of each picture must be identical giving the eye the effect of a stable background in contrast to the moving image.
