There is no equivalent term in English where a soundtrack is deliberately dubbed "Big Band Sound." Big Band refers to a style of jazz, usually featuring brass instruments as a part of a large orchestra, that evolved in the USA in the 1920's era and further developed during the subsequent "Swing" era in American jazz music history.
