A US Film Production and Distribution company that was oringialy formed in 1919 by Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. The companu was affilited with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Film Studio, which is now owend by Sony Pictures Entertainment. Currently United Artists is operated by the Actor Tom Cruise and Producer Paula Wagner.
