A group of film professionals, colleagues comprising a group (caucus or a committee) of experts formed with the purpose of conferring on a particular topic or set of issues and making resolutions. The committee is often formed as a part of an organization established for a set period of time or permanently. In regards to film this might include various production experts and professions, for example acting as judges at a film festival or to further the mission of the film industry. For example the Jury at the Cannes Film Festival.
