Glossary: Sound Film (Talkie)

See also Silent Film: when Silent Mobies were still ubiquitous the Talkie was a way of describing a film with Sound; it was during the 1920s that Sound film first started being released. Todoy of course, films are nearly all Sound Movies, or Talkies rendering this term all but obsolete.
