Glossary: Sound

Noise interpreted by the human ear. Also the Sound recorded and mixed for film, including Sound F/X, e.g. foley, Ambient Sound or Theatre Surround Sound etc.

The audio track that accompanies the action presented in a motion picture. See also O-Ton, foley, Room Noise, Soundtrack.
