Glossary: Gesture

Basically, we understand gestures as all the expressive movements of the human body (= gesticulation). In the art of acting, gestures comprise an additional physical form of expression or language developed by an actor to portray the nature of a character (in a Film or on the Stage) they are playing and how the character's attitudes can be interpreted.
