Glossary: Foley Artist

Foley Artists, named after Jack foley or Footstep-artist, also Walker, French Bruitage) specializes in the art of dubbing of noises in film and television scenes for which the ambient audio recorded on the Set is not adequate or cannot be used. Footsteps, glass breaking, punches, etc. are examples.
