Glossary: Shoot Date

The first day of principal photography of a film project with full crew and actors present on Set. Previous to the Shoot Date is Pre-production during which time various preparations are made including everything from (Film Rights, Financing, Casting, hiring crew , Unit Production Manager, etc. as well as Location Scouting, finding a Script/Story.)
