A "chronological" shoot is when the screenplay is film according to the logical succession of scenes in the script from beginning to end. However, key sequences due to weather or other factors may be delayed or rescheduled. In this case for example the end of the story is filmed before the middle. This can be difficult for actors who are thus forced to jump in and out of their character at different or even conflicting emotional points in the story.
