Glossary: Casting Director

A Casting Director is responsible for organizing the Casting process on a film working hand in hand with the producer and director and the talent agent/agency. Casting agents often belong to a firm called a Casting Agency with close relationships to Talent Agencies who represent Actors and Performers.
