Glossary: Construction (Set)

Set and scenery/background construction enables an extensive range of building facades necessary to support corresponding scenes. Set construction plans must accommodate possible multi/single camera movement, lighting and all the production elements on a film.

Art Direction - the Art Director is primarily responsible for supervising the construction of the film Set supervised by the Production Designer and with support from the Set Designer. The Construction Coordinator is supervised by the Art Director.
