Glossary: Production / Location Manager

The Location Manager is involved in the production long before shooting begins (pre-production) and works very closely with the Director and Producer(s). The position is responsible for creating the production plans and organizing the locations, logistics and necessary production equipment. During production (filming) the position is responsible for all organizational matters (supplies and personnel, transportation, Catering, security, etc.).
