Glossary: Accent Light

A light used to highlight strictly defined spaces or features. This light emphasizes structures or offers certain portions of persons or objects a significance. This technique can be used as a part of a large lighting unit with flags, etc. sectioning an area or through separate spotlights (usually with dimmable lights that are easily controlled from a light mixing board).
